History
The company's eventful
history dates back to 1811 when the first factory was built in Weisslingen.
It was a spinning mill until Kaspar Moos-Jucker took over and introduced
mechanical weaving in 1866. He also added a dyeing plant. Following
many turbulent years, Moos merged with Hausammann Textil AG in Winterthur,
a company founded in 1911. The corner stone was set for today's
Hausammann + Moos AG.
The close connection
with the weaving and dyeing mill remains to this day, allowing highly
motivated teams to find creative and market-oriented solutions for
our customers around the globe.
